River Hamble Club Moorings Available PDF Print E-mail

If any one is still looking for a mooring for this year the Club has the following still available:

  • One trot mooring for boats up to 7.3m (dry on springs)
  • Two pile moorings for boats up to 7.9m (Rafted - no pontoon)
  • One pile mooring for a boat up to 9.75m
  • One space on Q Pontoon for a RIB up to 5.6m.

2014 Regatta's PDF Print E-mail

In addition to hosting our own Battle of Britain Reggata we have been invited to host the following events in 2014:

RAFYC Contessa 32 Regatta 10th / 11th May - Weather Cancelled - Good Party Ashore!

RAFYC IRC Small Boat Regatta 5th / 6th July - Successful weekend - go here for results

RAFYC Battle of Britain Regatta 13th / 14th September

Includes a round of the  IRC Solent Region Championship on the Saturday

We are still looking for volunteers to help run the Battle of Britain Regatta either on the commitee boat or RIB driving/mark layingt - please contact RCS or the office.

Friday Launch Service - 2014 PDF Print E-mail

The Friday launch service resumes on Friday 4th April 2014 and runs until 24th October.  Please remember this is run by volunteers to enable YOU to make an early start on your long weekend away.

Friday Evening Launch Service

For a trial period we are going to extend the Friday launch service. This will now operate between 10.00 and 22.00.

 

Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them, before making any use of this Services. You should understand that by using this Service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

    • The volunteer Bosuns have the absolute right to refuse to carry anyone i.e. "at risk" through alcohol etc.
    • The launch is only allowed to operate after sunset if two bosuns are available
    • The launches must not exceed their passenger capacity at any time:
                     Gordon Matthews – 8 including the bosun(s)
                     Knot Me – 6 including the bosun(s)
    • Lifejackets or buoyancy aids should be worn at all times and must be worn in adverse weather conditions.
    • Members wishing to use the last launch run at 21.30 must be pre booked on the List maintained in the bar.
    • The last launch run will leave the club by 2130 to allow completion of the service by 22.00.
