RAF Yacht Club Visitor Open Day – Sunday 15th July 2012
When you have a historic yacht club on your doorstep isn’t it time you made a visit? And there is no better time to do so than on our Visitor Open Day.
We will welcome visitors from 11.30 to 15.30, providing tours of the club, our waterside facilities and making our bar & restaurant open for all to use on the day. Flag Officers & club members will also be on hand to give information about the club and answer any questions you may have.
The RAF Yacht Club is truly different and is open to all to apply for membership and no connection with the RAF is required.
Many of our members have a mooring near you and enjoy the advantage of the benefits the RAF Yacht Club provides. Although principally a cruising club, many members do go racing. We also have an active crew list for people who want to do both, including families.
So if the prospect of convivial social events, club rallies, friendship and sailing in good company appeals to you, then you really should come along on the day or arrange a personal visit soon.
